What does unamono stand for?
As child you had a treasure chest. Therein lay only the most valuable. Things which are fraught with meaning. Exchanged, won, given or hunted – they were of inestimable value. Because they were extraordinary, fascinating and loaded with stories which made it to a jewel for you. They were interwoven with your adventures, connected you with remembrances, and nothing had could replace them. They were unique as each irretrievable moment of your life. As child you had a story book. It was your window to the world. Stories from Thousand and one Night, narrations about endless adventures. They imprisoned so that the travel only started with shutting the book cover. Your phantasy was one with the events; your dreams gave you breathless continuations of the experiences. Your world was as completely as your happiness. Your story book still exists. In a chest, not a treasure chest, somewhere on the attic. Perhaps even in your shelf, somewhat deeper, so actually within your reach. You know that all these adventures still exist. And nevertheless you feel as if you would have left it behind. unamono opens a world for you. You may accompany two unique people and participate at their experiences. Una meets Mono. Mono meets Una. They encounter one another at the fullest place of the world, and their story could hardly begin more improbable. They go away again only with a place and a time. Who are Una and Mono?
Una and Mono are a couple. Together they are unamono. They experience in common great moments and small events, away on travel in strange countries or in the daily routine. In order that these moments will not vanish, unamono captures it in pictures. As a visual diary which accompanies Una and Mono through their life. A visual diary, captured on scarf. To be exact: on scarves and foulards. And, as unique as each moment, as unique is each scarf of unamono.
What is a story, what is an edition?
unamono tells stories. Stories about Una and Mono. From their life, from their travels, encounters and experiences. Every story is each a framework plot for more editions. One edition is in turn a sequence of unique moments; like a film is composed from single pictures, the edition is an episode of uniques. You get not only a valuable product; it is rather the material remembrance to a special moment. It represents the magic of a moment as it do your most valuable private pictures for you. So that the story will not be forgotten, we have written it down for you.
How can I recognize wether it is a unique or a multiple?
unamono offers two different product lines: multiples and uniques. Both terms are borrowed from the world of art.
Multiples are designs that are offered in unlimited quantities. The seal on each scarf shows the number of the multiple you own.
Uniques, in contrast, are conceived as “design families”: collections of products in which each design is produced only once, guaranteeing utmost exclusivity. The seal each product bears shows you the number of your unique.
What means the seal with the number on each product?
Your unique is not only unique in its design. The integrated seal in the motive shows you which single piece you have. The first four numbers mark the each edition, the following three numbers the number of your unique within this edition.
If you choose the multiple, the seal tells you so. Again, the first four numbers mark each edition. Followed by the three numbers describing your multiple.
In which sizes are the scarves and foulards available?
At unamono you will find scarves and foulards in different formats.
Choose between three scarves, the Large Scarf (190 x 95 cm), the Slim Scarf (190 x 65 cm) or the Medium Scarf (140 x 60 cm).
If you decide for a square scarf, you can choose between the Large Square (130 x 130 cm) and the Medium Square (65 x 65 cm).
Our pocket squares are 32 x 32 cm.
How should I care for my scarf?
Your unique is made from pure, high-quality silk. Enjoy wearing it, store it in the unamono box and let it dry clean by a good laundry service. So you will enjoy it for a long time.
If your scarf consists of 70% cotton and 30% silk, please wash it in cold water separately, either by hand or in the washing maschine.
What will I get with my product?
Look forward for our box we have packed with love only for you. Your scarf we send to you covered in silk paper and in a red box which is perfect suitable in the rack or closet for storage and stacking. Inside you also will find the story to your motive – the love story of Una and Mono.

Want you to show somebody that he or she is unique for you? What would more suggest itself than to give away one of our multiples or uniques.
The procedure is really uncomplicated: Please add to the order the name and address of the presentee as differing delivery address. This way, we will send the package directly to this address. Within the EU, no invoice is enclosed in the package; we will send it with separate E-Mail to the E-Mail address you have given us. With deliveries outside the EU, the invoice has to be on the outer packaging.
How do I open my customer account? Can shopping be done without a customer account?
Of course it is possible to do shopping with unamono with or without customer account. If you register with us, you enjoy the following advantages: you need not enter your personal data once again, you can have a look at your purchases and you can follow up your consignment more easily. Your data may be adapted by you at any time. You can open your customer account as follows: Please select either “Login” or “My Customer Account” in the field “Customer service”. Afterwards please enter your email address and a safe password chosen by you in the field “New Customer”. Upon confirmation of this password, please click on „Register now”. Your address details can be stored on the following page.
I forgot by password. What do I have to do?
If you go to your account, it is easy to change your password. Go to „Change password”, enter your email address and you will get an email with a link. By clicking on it you can set up a new password.

How can I pay safely for my product?
With unamono we offer you to pay via Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard), PayPal or Bank Transfer.
1. Credit Card For your security we use Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code. All payments will be handled via a secure checkout system. Your credit card information will not be stored by unamono. Your credit card will be charged immediately.
2. PayPal You are welcome to pay with PayPal. In case you choose this option, you will be redirected to the PayPal website. Login to your account to close the transaction.
3. Bank Transfer You can also pay directly via bank transfer. Please name necessarily your order number as intended purpose in order to enable us to associate your transfer.
We are going to ship your order only after receipt of the complete payment.

How can I track my delivery?
You will be able to follow your order 24h a day. As soon as your unique is on its way, we will send you the DHL tracking number via email. With this number you can track your order on the DHL website. If you have a customer account, you can also track your order there.
What do I have to do if I want to return my scarf?
Do you really want to return your product? It goes without saying that you are granted a Cancellation Right for 14 days. Attaching great importance to your satisfaction, the return will be made as easy as possible for you. We kindly ask for your understanding that the following facts have to be pointed out to you: Please send the product back within 14 days after receipt. It must be trackable, so that you can supply evidence having sent it back. Please note that you must bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Considering our product in its entirety, it does not only consist of the product itself, but also includes the red unamono-box and its contents. If the good was worn, washed or damaged, if the label was removed or unless the product is returned in the undamaged original box including all components, unamono is not obliged to accept it.
